Who Is JustInTime?

First and foremost, thanks for stopping by the blog!

I graduated from James Madison University in 2013 with a B.A. in English and creative writing. In the summer of 2014 I choose to pursue a vision I had while studying abroad the summer of 2012 in Ireland. That vision culminated in my acceptance and current schooling within a Master's degree program for clinical mental health counseling in south eastern Pennsylvania.

At this point in time I'm more then halfway through my program with a very strong belief and interest in narrative therapy, holistic wellness and positive psychology and mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR). I have always had a strong passion for connecting with people and exchanging ideas on the basis of positivity, therefore I hope this blog will be one platform to share that with you.

Music, nature, traveling and creative writing are extremely important parts of my life, and these interests have helped me form many strong relationships. These activities have also helped teach me an immeasurable amount about myself and my surroundings.

Whatever I'm doing, I think it's almost always better outside. I enjoy spending my time outside disc golfing, bouldering, biking or just lounging by my local river. I think spending time in nature and exploring its simplicity is highly underrated and often forgotten in our society. To see nature as our equal, and to understand its necessity in our lives takes time and reflection, and I believe everyone, including myself, can do a better job at that.

I think it's also worth mentioning that among all this, I currently own and operate a tie dye business called "JustinTime Tie Dye". I began this venture while traveling to music festivals after graduating from JMU in the summer of 2013. I discovered how a single bright, and well made tie dye has the potential to bring light to the lives of many. Since vending my dyes at music festivals and various city events and local consignments, I established my Etsy account in late 2015. You can find it here: Etsy.com/shop/justintimetiedye

During my schooling semesters I've also remained quite busy writing publication within the holistic wellness sphere for our University newspaper The Immaculatan. You can find those works in the "Publications" tab.

It goes without saying that family is what keeps me grounded and I wouldn't be anywhere without those closest to me. Family is also one of the main influencers in regards to the name of this blog, which you can read about here. I hope my blog can lend some sort of academic, moral or entertainment value to you and those you love. Please come back soon and enjoy!
